Abstract: The study investigated the impact of the performance in continuous assessment and examination of the academic achievement of undergraduates in Government documents course. Three research questions guided the study. Population consisted of undergraduates in the department of Library and Information Technology, Federal University of study. Analysis of data was by tabulation, frequency and percentages. Results showed positive impact of continuous assessment and examination on the overall academic achievement of undergraduates in the course. Recommendations were proffered.
