Fraud has become headache the world over. In this paper we propound Data Mining Incorporation Framework (DMIF) that can assist governments through their anti-graft agencies, in combating the heinous fraudulent practices, particularly in financial institutions. To do this end, we review a number of financial fraud cases (FFCs) in Nigeria as a particular case where financial fraud has become a serious problem in the business of government. Some of the different data mining techniques which are applicable to this problem are reviewed. The structure of these techniques as it can be applied to assist government to reduce this menace is designed. The analysis of fraud cases clearly shows that frauds are prevalent in Nigeria and the design will no doubt help in the fight against the menace.en_US
