Abstract: The present information epoch is characterized by global dwindling employment, ubiquitous economic recession and industrial crises amongst others. It is imperative for library and information technology practitioners to be adequately armed with entrepreneurial skills which could enhance their continuous productivity and employability in this information/knowledge driven society. Acquiring and utilizing entrepreneurial skills remains the sine qua non to joblessness and under-employment among library and information technology practitioners in an age characterized with stiff competition among alternative information service providers. An array of job opportunities (ranging from publishing, bookshop business, information brokerage etcetera) that are available for library and information technology practitioners who employ entrepreneurial skills are provided. Library and information technology practitioners who employ entrepreneurial skills and who at the same time are productive would be profitable to themselves and their respective organizations and remain continually employable.
