dc.description.abstractThe idea of impacting positive attitudes and values in individuals especially among secondary school students can conveniently be achieved through social studies education with the use of technological advancement. The decision of what to teach in the cognitive, psychomotor as well as affective domains require altitude, value and use of media aids judgment. In this paper, the role of social studies education towards achieving positive change in our educational system, which may wipe away indiscipline, dishonesty and other social ills among the secondary school students, was discussed. The part played by technology in enhancing and effecting desirable changes in social system was also highlighted.en_US
