In this work, we carried out a mathematical study of diabetes and its complications. A deterministic mathematical model of the Diabetes Mellitus disease was presented. The model equations were solved using the Homotopy Perturbation Method. Graphs were generated from the results obtained using Maple software. It was observed that the parameters involved play a crucial role in the size of population of diabetics and the number of diabetics with complications at time t.en_US
