dc.description.abstractExperimental structures for ozone gas sensing using the absorption spectroscopy method are reviewed in this article. Basically, the structures of interest are the direct method of sensing and the cavity ring down spectroscopy because of its pronounced sensitivity. Basic experimental structures components are outlined. The article emphasizes taking advantage of recent and modern developmental inventions in the field of optics and electronics to maximise performance and efficiency and at the same time minimizing cost.en_US
