The study attempted to analyze poultry feed marketing in Minna. The study sampled five major poultry feed outlets and obtained information from them through the use of structured questionnaire. The study aimed to identify major feed outlets, ascertain the extent to which their marketing process could guarantee increased poultry feed supply and to evaluate the level of demand and supply of poultry feed and estimate the costs and returns. The study found out that feed millers incurred high marketing costs which affected the overall gross margin. Feed millers produced more of layers mash compared to other feeds due to its high demand. Problems encountered involved delays in supplies due to transportation problems and instability of cost of feeds. It was recommended that the government can assist by reducing costs incurred in the marketing process of feeds thus can be achieved by reawakening the closed down government feed mills in the state. Feed millers could also setup feed mills sales depot at various parts of the state to cut-off the problem of transportation.en_US
