The removal of potential toxic metals (Cu and Zn) in modified adsorbent from aqueous solutions by B. buonopozense was investigated. Experiments were carried out as function of contact time, initial concentration, dosage, temperature and pH. The equilibrium adsorption data were analyzed by Dubinin– Radushkevich (D–R), Temkin and Freundlich models. Adsorption data were modeled using the pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order and intraparticle diffusion kinetics equations. The experimental data were fitted well for pseudo-second-order kinetics. Thermodynamic parameters and were also determined. The positive values of indicate non-spontaneity.en_US
