Abstract: The twenty first century saw the development and increase in the use of high speed personal computers due to the development in Technology. This has resulted in the development of software in different disciplines such as architecture. This development has created a fast shift from manual drafting on drawing boards to the use of computers. The university environment which serves as the nerve centre for the training of future professionals is challenged by these developments. The teaching of Computer Aided Designs (CAD) in schools of architectures dearth of curriculum suitable to accommodate the ease of learning CAD. As such student’s opinion were sought through questionnaires at the Department of Architecture, Federal University of Technology Minna. The respondents raised some of the issues which when inculcated will help in the development of curriculum that will aid the teaching of CAD in schools of architecture.
