| Abstract: | This paper presents the design and construction of SKV A electric arc welding machine using locally available tools and materials. The Ale electrical welding machine which has a step down transformer on testing shows efficiency of 9S % voltage regulation of 86% and power factor of 0.79S. The cost of this locally fabricated welding machine would cost Only N30,000 as compared with approximate NSO,OOO which IS the current of the imported welding machine of similar capacity |
