Abstract: This study examined Students Perception on Internet Services as Alternative for Teaching and Learning of Mathematics in Federal University of Technology Minna Niger State and the target population was Mathematics student from the department of science education, this study has three objectives as perception of students on the use of internet services as alternative source of teaching and learning mathematics, two research questions were raised in line with the objectives to guides the study. The population of the study was 612 students and one hundred and fifty (150) well-structured questionnaire was distributed. The research developed a self- designed four Likert scale structured questionnaire, titled “perceptions of students’ on the use of internet services as alternative source of teaching and learning mathematics” which was validated by expert in science education department and industrial and technology education department. The study adopted a survey design. Data obtained from the respondents was analyzed using mean and standard deviation analysis method. However, finding of this research reveal that students have positive mindset toward mathematics. The aim of the study is to examine student perception on the usage of educational resource alternative strategy toward effective teaching and learning of mathematics. Based on the finding the following recommendations were made: The study established that there is lack of IT expert; hence, it is necessary for the school to employment people who are well experienced and have better IT knowledge by doing this it will help to fast track and aid smooth use of internet in teaching and learning of mathematics. Federal Government should also provide necessary learning aids that suitable for study such as learning equipment.
