dc.description.abstractThe Federal Ministry of Works and Housing is charged with the provision and maintenance of roads, public buildings and some other services. The Federal Highways department is one of the eight departments of the ministry. This department is responsible for the planning, design, construction, maintenance and management activities of all federal trunk roads and bridges as well as regulation of traffic on the road network. Road projects in this department, be they construction or maintenance contracts require monthly progress reports. Until now, these reports have been done manually hence the need to computerise.en_US
