dc.description.abstractABSTRACT The project examines the influence of HIV I AIDS on Minna. Data collection which includes questionnaire distribution, oral interviews from different medical centre and other parts of Minna revealed the following results. Government's effort in educating the people with regard to relationship is on the positive side. Pe8ple are now awai'e of the :'dationship with HIV in/i.;l.:led persUI\. III V can not be contacted through handshake, hugging etc. People don't see any reason to carry out any test of HIv as the result may be injurious to them if on the bad side. There is a 100% effect on the socio-economic activities of the populace. since all the people agreed that it has influence on both economic and productivity wise. That, no matter the stage of HIV / AIDs infection one would not know the Hlv status Qf an individual until a laboratory test is conducted on the individual. ThCit poverty level and in adequate awareness also contribute to the spread of HIV/AIDS infection. Suggestions in form of recommendations were proffered to cope with some of the consequences of HI VIA IDS.en_US
