Abstract: ABSTRACT This project work is generally aimed at computer application to data processing. The power of computer over manual technique of data processing can not be over emphasized. Essentially computer processing is very accurate (ie error free), very fast in processing data and has storage facility for storing large data. Data that would be naturally stored in a small diskette for a long time. More over. computer system can be used to process any data provided adequate information on how the processing is to be done, is given to the machine. It is in the light of the above fact that gears me up to apply the computer system for processing students continuous assessment records of Junior Secondary School Nikuchi. Minna Zone. For this project, only J.S.S III assessment records were used for a case study. Files were created for entering the continuous assessment and examination marks. With series of programs, results of these students were obtained automatically. Thus, the INPUTS DATA are the continuous assessment marks and examination marks.
