dc.description.abstractABSTRACT A feasibility study was conducted on the effect of application of computer in stock control system with particular reference to Bay Specialist Hospital . The familiar fact finding techniques - namely Interview and Document inspection were employed in the field work during data collection. dBASE IV, a classic database management system for microcomputers that allow interaction with data though many selection was used. The system is designed to provide management with timely information and ensure proper accountability as a result of timely report to be generated for all transactions in the drug store. The implementation of the proposed system will ensure improvement in the stock control system in terms of reliability, security, effectiveness and privacy.en_US
