Abstract: ABSTRACT This project work focuses on the use of modem scientific approach to projection or forecasting. Particular attention was paid to time series analysis approach using the students' population ofF.G.G.C., Zaria as a case study. Chapter 1 gIves a general introduction to the study, its background and statement of the problem. Research questions were posed with the aim of finding answers to them later. The significance, justification and scope of the study were discussed. Chapter 2 has to do with a brief review of literature relevant to the study. It highlights certain concepts commonly encountered in time series analysis. Chapter 3 deals with the design of the study, procedure for data collection and the result of graphing the data. The software development and implementation were discussed in chapter four, while chapter five covered the summary and conclusion.
