Abstract

ABSTRACT For many years there has been a great need for an authoritative and comprehensive project or book on this !lijed. The study streamlined how supplies and materials management function of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture can be computerised. It first looked into material management as vital resources of any organisation and the procedures of acquiring stores (purchasing technique) and relationship between stores and all other departments in the Ministry and see how the stores can be computerised thus determining the impact of computer to stores management. It tries to look at the old system being used since 1960 and see the limitation and scope of installing "MIND TOOLS"
