Abstract: Contract Administration involves those activities performed by government officials after a contract has been awarded to determine how well the government and the Contractor performed to meet the requirement of the contract. The contract administration process in Nigeria is full of problems which are due to inadequate development and implementation of contract administration system to check practices involved in awarding contracts monitor, manage and track contract performance, records and report events and execute prompt payment of contractors. This leads to fraudulent acts, mistakes and unnecessary stress caused to the client and contractor. The adoption of the system designed in the course of this project will help the process of contract administration in the following ways, making the process faster and more streamlined, reducing paperwork, ensure proper documentation of all details regarding a contract, reducing unnecessary mistakes in recording details and limiting the chances of fraudulent acts to the barest minimum.
