Abstract

ABSTRACT Human activities have continued to grow as the years go by, bringing to focus, the need for the use of enonnous infonnation in order to ' achieve organizational needs and objectives of various enterprises and even those of nation - states. Our generation lives in an age beset by uncertainties. This scenario has made the use of computers in various organizations to become very important. The application of modem technology in the production of goods and services by almost all the sectors of the world economics has propelled Nigeria to embrace the use of computer for our daily office and private activities. It is also my belief that computerization of the Accounting System of Niger State development Company Limited up to Trial Balance is one of the I important procedures that the management must employ to control its operation more effectively.
