Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was focused on the application of computer to the formlilation of poultry feeds using EL-AMIN Feed mill as a case study. The current system (manual) was studied using several facts finding techniques and then analysed. From the analysis a new system was designed. The computer was used because of the various advantages and charactt.>ristics it posses, such as high speed, accuracy, storage, automation and its quick accessibility, will go along way to determine the choice of proper combination of ingredients and formulate the least cost rations that will satisfy the requirement of poultry bi.-ds. The programs were written in modllies with facilities to 'Hld, view edit and to generate reports.
