Abstract

This book has been written for the use of students, teachers, tutors, instructors and lecturers of Colleges of Technology, Monotechnics, Polytechnics, Universities, Research Institutes and all forms of tertiary educational institutions offering construction-related courses. The book will enable students of tertiary institutions to understand the fundamentals of estimating, price analysis and build-up of rates for construction works. In addition, the book will prepare students for career progression, upon graduation, as required by the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS), Nigerian Institute of Building (NIOB), Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and other allied professional associations.
