Abstract: Aim: To investigate the antidiabetic properties of seed oil of Moringa oleifera Lam. Extracted with petroleum ether and dichloromethane and compared with glibenclimide. Study Design: Experimental study design was adopted. Methodology: The 2.0 ml/kg body weight (kg.bw) of the oil, 500 μg/kg.bw of glibenclimide and 2.0 ml/kg.bw of DMSO (Diabetic control group) were given orally to rats in their respective groups after induction with 130 mg/kg.bw of alloxan monohydrate.
