Abstract: This paper considered a two dimensional flow in x and y coordinate system and derived a Non- Homogenous Laplace Equation for groundwater flow using Darcy’s equation which form the basis for the finite element discretization process. By discretizing the Hydraulic Conductivity and Piezometric Head in the x y direction, a flow direction vector of the groundwater system is obtained.
