Eight- week study was carried out using eighteen (18) Sokoto Red goats of mixed sexes in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) to determine the effects of feeding graded levels of Saccharomyces Cerevisiae – Treated Rice Husk (ScTRH) on their performance. The body weight changes, haematological and serum biochemical parameters, nutrient intake and digestibility were determined. The encouraging nutrient intake, digestibility, and growth performance of animals in this experiment suggests that Saccharomyces cerevisiae- Treated Rice Husk (ScTRH) can serve as a valuable alternative and cheap feed ingredient for good production. It was concluded that 40 % inclusion of ScTRH in the diets of goats is an effective means of reducing the level of dependence and competition for conventional feedstuffs between man and livestock.en_US
