Abstract: A 3 tones per day capacity Rice Processing plant was established for the Buma Farm in Bayelsa State. The installed machines are: one Rice Thresher, one Wet Cleaner three Rice Parboilers, one Rotary Steam Dryer, four Milling Machines and one Preumatic Cleaner. All the machines were fabricated in the National Cereals Research Institute Badeggi , with funds provided by the Nigeria Agip Oil Company Ltd Port Harcourt. The performance of each of the machines were evaluated and their results were recorded. The Milling recovery of the plant was observed to be 69.5% - 70,43% while the performance of the various components of the plant are clearly highlighted.
