dc.description.abstract,Educational facilities have been repeatedly found to have a positive relationship with quality of education. Yet the prevailing situation of the incompetence of polytechnic product is at alarming rate, therefore, it has become pertinent to investigate the adequacy of training facilities, tools and equipment in workshop. A survey research designed was adopted for the study. A total 257 teaching personnel and 833 student were used for the study. A structured questionnaire consisting of 30 item was used for data collection. The reliability coefficient of the instrument was0.97 using Pearson product correlation coefficient while four expert validated the instrument the study was guide by 2 research question and 2 hypotheses tested at 0.05 level of significant. The data collection was analysed using mean, tools and equipment respondents agreed with the suggested way of providing workshop for provision of the required facilities; polytechnic consult should be used to provide the needed facilities in the workshop, public private partnership like built operate and transfer (BOT) and built own operate and transfer (BOOT) among others.en_US
