Abstract: The paper examined the effectiveness of 3-dimensional mathematics instructional models on learning some aspect of Geometry in senior secondary schools in Minna, Niger State. Pre-test, post-test experimental control group design was employed to facilitate data collection for the study. Two hundred (200) SSI students were randomly selected from four secondary schools in Minna. Ten (10) items multiple choice questions were administered to both groups before and after treatment. The data collected was analyzed using group mean, standard deviation and t-test statistical techniques. The finding revealed Positive effect of using 3-dimentional mathematics instructional models with higher post-test experimental group mean score of 70.5 against the control group mean score of 30.75 and the grand mean score of 50.62. this enables the researcher to make appropriate recommendations on the effective use of instructional materials particularly mathematics instructional aids in teaching and learning of mathematics.
