| Abstract: | The paper examined the necessity for the use of the literature to support research-whether in an educational setting or within industry. using the literature to support research involves much more than a single search. The thought and preparation beforehand is a vital part of the process while the problem of obtaining, collating, recording, reading and citing the literature can be as daunting as the search itself. |
