Abstract: Malaria is one of the most prevalent and devastating tropical parasitic diseases. Malaria is a disease of the tropical and sub tropical zones and may also occur in temperate regions.It presents enormous health problems in Africa. The Malariology in TropicalAfrica - A Primer information on current development on malariology. It has revealed current approaches tomalaria control, current global programmes and initiatives geared towards malaria eradication, chemotherapy and herbal remedy for malaria, pathogenesis, pathology and clinical findings of malaria infection, epidemiology, immunity/host defenses against malaria and particularly the possibility of using an efficacious vaccine against malaria in the near future.
