Abstract: ntroduction as well as implementation of new ideas is inevitable for organizational growth, its gives competitive edge and also reposition organization in competitive environment, even with that when ideas are presented in an organization employees tend to resist it for some reasons. This study examined causes for resistance to change and how they can be overcome. Descriptive survey design was adopted to collect data from 120 employees working at different managerial levels and branches. Findings of this study reveal that employees’ openness to change, participation in change, communication to change, and trust in management had significant effects on employee’s resistance to organizational growth.
