Abstract: Induced Genetic variability’s in sesame was studied. Variety kenena-4 was exposed to fast neutron irradiation (FNI) from an Am-Be source with a flux of 1.5×104ncm-2s-1, using doses of 0,4,8,12 and 16µsv and also treated with sodium azide using doses of 0.0%,0.2%,0.4%,0.6%,0.8%. Plant height, survival percentage, length of petiole, number of leaves per plant and leave surface area were observed for quantitative character .There were significant differences (at p<0.05) in kenana-4 at different doses of fast neutron irradiation and sodium azide with most of the parameters used. Both radiation and chemical showed negative correlation with most of the parameters used.
