Thereafter, several empirical equationswereusedtostudytheshieldingabilityoftheglasssystemsagainst neutronsandchargedparticles.Theresultsindicatethatlinearattenuationcoefficientchangeswithenergy andreachesmaximumat0.6MeV(minimumat10MeV)withthevaluesof0.2806(0.109),0.3181(0.121), 0.3771(0.1498),0.409(0.168),0.4588(0.1911),and0.5162(0.2180)forx=0,10,20,30,40,and50mol%, respectively.
